Are we all intuitive?

Are we all intuitive?

Are we all intuitive?

People often ask me if anyone can do what I do, and as much as my ego would love to think I’m special in that way, I do believe that anyone can do this.

Will you do it exactly like me? Doubtful. I think the key to success in life is finding what works for you. There’s a reason there are approximately 140,000 different diet books available on Amazon. Everything doesn’t work for everyone — you’ve got to find what works for you, and stick with it. And if at some point, it stops working, then you tweak it and keep going until it’s working again.

With regards to intuition, I believe that everyone has the capacity to be intuitive. But some will have to work harder at it than others. Some have trust issues, which make it difficult to trust their intuition and to know that the guidance they are receiving is true and accurate. Others are blocked and have to get through some clearing work before they can receive information fluently.

But we all have the capacity.

Having said that, there are some people who are naturally more inclined to hone and perfect their intuition than others. If you are familiar with Human Design at all, then you probably know that some people are gifted psychics. I am one of those people. It was funny, because when my friend Kim talked to me about Human Design, she pulled my chart and said, “Wow. You really are psychic.” and I responded, “Yep.” To which she replied, “No, I mean you REALLY REALLY are psychic.” I was like, “Um, yeah. I know that.” She was blown away because she could see evidence in black and white, but I was nonplussed because it was as though she was telling me I’m a woman, or that I have brown eyes. No shit I’m psychic, I already know that. But for some individuals who may be less certain of their gift, I’m sure a confirmation like this could provide validation.

However, my own coach is a very gifted intuitive, and her human design chart says she is not psychic. To me, that is proof that whether it’s inherent or not, it can be learned.

I would liken it to athleticism.

Anyone could be an athlete through hard work, focus, discipline, and consistency of action. But it would take something different from each, depending on the person. Some would find it easy to work out, but hard to mind their nutrition. Others would struggle with consistency or focus. Some would compete and become professionals, while others would just do it for themselves.

Intuition is a lot like that. I chose the professional route, and I continue to work at it, and to improve. My focus is exceptionally high, and this helps me serve my clients as well as a greater audience, through venues like this blog.

But anyone can do it. I know because I’ve helped all kinds of people to tap into their intuition and expand their awareness and improve their life in concrete, measurable ways.
