(Castle Rock, CO) On May 1, 2016, “Spiritual Ass Kicker” Amy Scott Grant teamed up with “Whole Being RN” Audrey Christie McLaughlin to launch a new online radio show called The Half Hour of Universal Awesomeness. The duo’s goal is to entertain and enlighten, providing metaphysical guidance and healing, peppered with hilarious banter and anecdotal humor.
Grant is an author, speaker, and Thought Leader of the Year Finalist. She has created a number of online courses and personal development programs, and was featured in the bestselling book “Change Agents” alongside sales training titan Brian Tracy.
The pair met when McLaughlin hired Grant for personal mentoring through Grant’s Ripple Magic Transformation program, a one-year program designed to create personal breakthroughs through clarity and energy healing work.
McLaughlin, Registered Nurse, Reiki Master, and Certified Clinical Master of Aromatherapy. She has been featured in Forbes magazine and Success magazine, and is perhaps best known for her extensive expertise in the practical application of essential oils in alternative healing.
“This show is unlike anything else out there,” comments McLaughlin. “It’s a hilariously entertaining show with deep spiritual meaning and guidance. So many of the spirituality and personal development shows are so woo-woo. We wanted a show with substance, delivered by real people and with a healthy dose of laughter. Essentially, we decided to create the kind of show we would actually listen to.”
The show runs thirty minutes in length and covers a wide range of topics. New episodes are released two to three times per month, featuring topics such as “How to Spot a Liar” and “Pre-Sleep Manifestation.” A recent episode, “Politics Schmolitics” features a somewhat controversial look at “why this election will have no bearing whatsoever on your life.”
“We like to shake things up.” Grant chuckles, “I suppose that’s what you’d expect from a Spiritual Ass Kicker. But the bottom line is, spirituality and energy healing aren’t always about love and light and rainbows. At some point, people just want to get real and talk about real stuff, from a spiritual perspective. That’s where we come it. And hey, if you can laugh your ass off while you’re listening, then that just makes it all the better, right?”
Ten minute “teasers” of the show are available for free on iTunes, but the only way to access the full episodes and archives is by joining Clearing of the Month Club. “There are so many people who don’t have any company on their spiritual path,” says Grant. “Their husband doesn’t get it, their friends think it’s weird, and their families are way too repressed to even listen. We wanted to create a community where spiritual people can connect and share wins, and get support. Clearing of the Month Club is a place for like-minded people to gather online, share common experiences, enjoy the radio show, and get heaps of clearing help to get unstuck.” A huge grin spreads across her face. “People dig it, and it’s just going to keep growing and growing. There’s a huge need for real connection among spiritual people who aren’t full of crap.”
